Why Choose a Humane Approach?

It is the best way to ensure animals don’t get back in! Setting up a trap and relocating or even killing the animal only gets rid of that one. What needs to be done is protecting your house or whatever structure they have inhabited. There are many factors to consider when doing this. That is why it is best to consult a professional. Start your process by getting a free* quote here.

The Process

Booking a Home Inspection

You either currently have an unwanted critter or you don’t want to get them. Book online or call, give a brief description of what you are experiencing and you will be given a date and time slot for the Home Inspection. You will also get a confirmation call day of with ETA.

Quotes are $49.99 but are reimbursed once the work has been approved. So they are free on approved work.

The Work Begins

Once the quote has been approved, work can begin either same-day or will be booked with you. Processes may vary animal-to-animal but involve the use of a one-way-door and protecting your home or whatever structure the animal has taken residence in.

Sometimes animals can make their way into your living space and need to be physically removed by a technician. These types of service calls do not require return visits and are typically very quick. Best to call in these cases for a speedy process!

Return Visit

Once work has been completed, the waiting game begins. With your house now protected and a one-way-door installed at the entry point, it is a matter of time for the animal to evict itself. After a certain amount of time (usually a couple weeks but may vary) a technician will return to remove the one-way-door, repair damage, and protect that area just like the rest of your house. In most cases you do not have to be home for the return visit. A note will be left at your door/mailbox or a quick chat if you are home will be the end of your animal problem!

If you have any unanswered questions, please check out our FAQs below or ask during your home inspection.

About Me

I’m Jesse Forrest and I love helping people get their homes back and get animals Back to the Forest! I worked for one of the largest wildlife control companies where I gained 5 years of experience in the field.

One of the things that made me want to start my own business was seeing the prices that customers had to pay. Having an animal break in, which can happen to almost any home, shouldn’t break the bank. I know I can use my expertise to help people have their house become their home again, while removing the animals the proper way.

Frequent Questions

How do I know what animal has broken into my house?

There are many factors to consider but the best way to find out is to seek an expert and book a Home Inspection here.

What happens if the animal has had babies?

There are more steps involved with babies that need to be followed for a smooth process for all parties involved. If you suspect babies are present please do not disturb the space where they are as this can lead to the mother hiding them in different places. Babies in most cases need to be removed by hand.

How long will the process take to get the animals out?

Times can vary depending on circumstances but in most cases one week after work has been completed as the animal(s) will need to leave for food and water.

What can I do to speed up the process?

Locating your access points to your attic or crawl space and have these areas cleared for Home Inspection and day of job will make things easier for the technician. The rest is easily managed by us.

Some things to avoid doing would be going into attics/crawl spaces, setting traps, or blocking entry points yourself. Doing these things will slow down the process and could cause more problems.

Pest Control vs. Wildlife Control: What’s the difference?

Have rodents or critters entered your home or are in your yard? In your search for animal removal you have probably come across companies that are pest control or humane wildlife control. They can both help you with your problem but in different ways.

Pest control companies primarily involve exterminators, traps, and poison. Killing or physically removing the animal(s) is immediately effective but doesn’t address the fact that homes are not built animal proof.

Wildlife control or humane wildlife control companies may still physically remove animals, but should also protect your home or structure against future wildlife related problems. This is what we do at Forrest Wildlife Control. While each species requires different methods, the removal of the animal(s) and prevention against future problems guarantees that your home will be protected.
